Paprika Powder 200 ASTA is the sweet or very mildly pungent powder produced by grinding the dried, ripe fruit of varieties of Capsicum Annum L..

Ground Paprika, Silicon Dioxide (anti-caking agent).

1. Physical Properties
Colour : Dark Red
Flavour and Odour : Fragrant, strong flavour with mild chilli note.
Granulation : Through a USS# 40 Screen 95 %

2. Chemical Properties
Moisture : 9 % max
Extractable Colour : 195-205
Asta heat unit : 50 max
Scoville heat unit : 400 max
Surface colour(Agtron) : 200-205
Silicon dioxide : 2.0% max

3. Microbiological Standards
Standard Plate Count : 1,500,000/g max
Yeast and Mold : 1000/g max
Coliform : 100/g max / E. Coli : Negative / Salmonella : Negative

PACKAGING AND STORAGE
The product shall be packaged in polyethylene bags lined with double paper bags, which will be labelled with product name, color level ASTA, name and address of the purchaser, number of mixture on the top right of the bag, and the kosher symbol.
Storage shall be under normal warehouse conditions off the floor and away from outer walls.
